car detailing tip for polishing

For those looking to return the lustre of their paint jobs, there is a product, I believe will not disappoint you. It will save you time and/or money waxing and polishing your max. It's some product recommended by Bobby Likus (sp?) on his a.m. talk radio.

Pennzoil Total Care. $10.99 or so from Autozone. I was skeptical, but it actually worked real nicely. I had some hazy marks on the hood from when I had a bra on the hood. The marks are 90 gone. It took me about 3 minutes to do the whole car.

Instructions:
1. Rinse or wipe dust/dirt off car
2. Apply product to supplied sponge and wipe onto car doing a section at a time.
3. Wipe off with dry hand towel (says 100% cotton rag

You are basically wetting the car with the product using the sponge and wiping it off with a towel. You should, therefore, replace the drying towel with every new section you do.

I dunno if it's poseta bead water, will find out shortly. The car looks like someone woke its paint up from deep slumber. It's looks like I spent hours waxing it. It's poseta work on the inside also, but I got lazy, hot and tired, so I didn't try it on the inside of the car.

And no, I don't work for the company. Just wanted to share something I found to return the shine to your paint, short of getting a new paint job.

yah i saw that on TV, personally i dont trust stuff that is suppost to care for interior and paints with one product. but if you like it and it doesnt ruin your car thats good and keep us posted on the long term effects.

im old fashion so im gonna stick to the traditional clay baring, cleaning, polishing, and waxing. (which is a lot of work) but i like it

Update as promised

It's been raining here for some days. I got a chance to see this thing work with rain. Rain beads up nicely, much better than old fashioned wax.

Works nicely on windshield and windows. Best part is not having to polish, buff etc. And there are NO marks (swirl or otherwise) on my superblack se.

And no, I still don't work for the company
