How far did you drive your car before it needed major work (tranny, etc.)

The wife's 91GXE (see sig) is over 127k miles now and I'd like to know what to look for. Must check CV boots but I'm more interested in major work like tranny or whatever. I just had a couple of FI replaced which wasn't cheap but I'd like to keep the car as long as makes sense.

so far all I've had to change is engine mounts and CV boots. both made of rubber and prone dying quickly on a car when you drive it like I do. other than that, 120k miles and nothing other than regular maintenance.
well I forgot abou the battery and alternator, but those don't count because of the system.
