98 accord hrmm....
I have a 93 maxima SE and my dad has a 99 accord v6....for an old car, the max runs strong, but I can feel that the accord can pull my max...but I'm sure the max can top better.....as for the 89 5spd....I don't know what kind of 98 accord you're comparing with.
Soryy to dissapoint you but.....
'89 Max vs. '98 V6 Accord--> i'm going with VG Max, 98 V6's arent a match eventhough they boast a V6, they can keep up(1-2 spaces behind) BUT trust me after various confrontations THEY WON'T and DON'T PASS a Max, even with minor mods!! as for '99 V6 Accord, nice car, stylish(w/ a body kit) and a couple nice mods like dual HKS Hiper mufflers *droool* and 200hp stock is pretty cool too!!!

yup you're right....
some come with the 200hp engine! guess all the '98+ Accords I've raced have just been the traditional 4cyl.!! Oh well...next on my list a V6 Accord, win or lose I'm always always up for a challenge!!!!

V6 accords dont come with 5 speed only auto so thats a good advantage. The 4 bangers come with 5 speed optional. My sister tried to get a 5 speed V6 but has a four. For a four cyclinder the tires are easy to lite up.
