Original owner, 90 SE, 5spd -
Has the automated climate control system
dial up the temp you want, it does the rest - well it used to.

Aircon and heat working fine until. This past year
the display illumination occsasionaly gows real dim - so you
can't read it. Lately it's been bright.

April - Air stopped working.
Last week - Heater is working wierd - sometimes heat comes
out, sometimes it blows cold air.

I am hoping this is a wonky sensor and I don't have to
replace the whole control unit.

Anyone seen this before?

 

I have the same problem with the display. Sometimes it will be real bright and then really dim, but it comes and goes. But the rest of mine works the regular way, at least so far. If you find something out let me know. I'll probably have the same problem eventually....

 

I've got the same problem with the display. About 10% of the time when I start the car, it is really dim. I just smack the dash and it goes back to normal. Oh well.
