I have a 92 SE with leather interior.Will a seat from a gxe or gle match my seats or are they different.My leather is tan and my drivers seat is cracked bad but the rest of the interior is perfect.I found a tan gxe seat out of state so I can't see it but I don't think it is the same as mine.It's the only tan leather seat in good condition that I have found nationwide.I don't want to spend the $1000 or so it would cost to cover the entire interior.Does anyone have any suggestions or know anywhere I can look for one?I have exhausted all of my ideas.Thanks

I saw some on eBay not too long ago, and there was another guy here that had some he was wanting to swap for cloth seats. Check the For Sale forum, you might get lucky. If not there, you could always go to a junkyard, that would be a little cheaper than recovering the ones you have...

GXE would fit, but a GLE wouldn't (different gen model). But, you probably already knew that since you searched and all.

have you checked into just getting the bad seat fixed? it likley just the bottom seat thats cracked up a good leather man could fix it cheaper than buying a leater seat ,ecept for pick your part

seats from any 89-94 Max will FIT, but making sure the stitching matches is another thing.
most of the leater in our cars came from a few aftermarket suppliers, so the stitching on the seats varies by region, year, and even dealer. if you can find one that's the same, then great. pick it up. it'll bolt right in.
If you can't, then check out www.leatherseats.com and see their prices. much lower than $1000.

like Matt said, stitching for GXE and SE is different
SE has a big stich right down the middle
GXE has wider "panels" and no stitch down the middle
yes, they would fit and noone else would probably notice the difference
and that is for the stock leather
there is some aftermarket leather (also added by some dealers too I think) where there are lots of horizontal bars going across the seat
search for more; I know pics have been posted before comparing all these
