Difference in '89-'91 dash and '92-'94 dash?

Is there a difference in the dashes between a '89-'91 and a '92-'94 model? The reason I ask is that there are some dash kits advertized on ebay that say they are for '92-'94 but the diagrams look exactly like the dash on my '90. Other ebay sellers say their dashes are for '89-'94.

The plastic fascia piece that goes over the center part of the dash from the climate control to the ashtray is slightly different.

It's kind of hard to explain, but the '89-91 dashes make everyhting in this part of the dash look recessed, whereas the '92-'94 dashes look a lot smoother as the areas around the radio, climate control, hazard switch have been made to fit more flush with the fascia.

The fascias are interchangeable.

if you change from 89-91 to 92-94 fascia, you need to also change your radio mounting brackets. The ARE recessed, so you will need the new brackets to extend the radio outward.

Take a look at my homepage of my 91 maxima. I did this to my 91 when I did the dash paint. I thought it looked great.

The difference is plain and simple. The 89-91 center piece (around radio, ash tray, climate control) is well, fugly.
