Lambertville is Central jersey, 08530, right above Trenton, its about 2 hours from NY

I'm not sure, but I'll sell it $75 shipped regardless of shipping cost

Shipped is 75, if you want to pick it up, I'll just substract shipping when i figure it out, since paterson is about an hour, maybe an hour and a half away from lambertville

It's going to growl around 3k and up, this type of intake is going to increase your low-end power. It'll sound good, and you'll probably get the same comments I got when I had it on.

"Is that the sound of your blow-off valve?"

"...um...yeah"

Your fuel economy's not going to change, and if it does it'll go from say 28.6mpg to 28.4mpg and you'll get a cooler sound and quicker accel

You can take it past 2500, even if your not a fast driver it'll just take longer in between shifts. I shift between 2800 and 4000

Im looking for an intake...question is I notice in your sig you now have a PRCAI...what made you switch from the Stillen? Do I need to cut the fender for the Stillen? Easy to install...like everything just lines up,no wrestling around with it? Would you email me at pdettore@comcast.net Easier via my personal email as when Im at work i cant come to this site but i can check my email.....thanks.

The switch from a Stillen Short Ram to a Place Racing Cold Air Intake wasn't the brand name switching but the difference in Intake type. Stillen is a very good brand name, but as far as CAI's go Place Racing is the best. I had an opportunity to buy one, and since they are no longer in business and are no longer being manufactured (original that is) I decided to go ahead and buy it.

The stillen one does not require a hole to be cut and the installation is very straight forward, once you get it out of the box and look at your intake setup you'll see where it goes.

How long did you use this for and how often did you clean the filter? Does it come with the mounting bracket and the bolts originally included? See the website below if you do not know what I am talking about.

Used for a couple months, then went with a CAI

Personally never cleaned it, except for the resale now, never really had to.

I have the mounting bracket, I need to pull it out of my old intake setup I now realize I mistook it for something else, but I can pull that out and send it. And the bolts you'll be using to secure the velocity stack are already on your car.

Two more questions:

1. Is it just a regular K&N Cone filter?
2. Does the metal zip tie that goes around the outer edge closest to the MAF come with it? Thanks.

It is a K&N, this one's from stillen so it's branded but you can replace it with a K&N. And the metal zip tie? I think your referring to a pipe clamp? I'm positive I have some lying around I can throw in too

Ok here's the deal. I've gotten 5-10 offers, and held the item for a couple days for each, and no money. Everyone who wants it this is what's included:

Filter
Velocity Stack
Mounting Bracket
2 O-Ring Screw Clamps

$50 shipped, post in the thread as payment sent and whoever sends me the money first gets it

Hey,

If it doesn't sell, just keep it for winter use...instead of using the CAI.
I have all mine...Stillen Hi-Flow, Frankencar Intake, and what I'm using now
The original PRCAI. I miss the deep sound of teh Stillen Hi-Flow...

True it does have a nice deep sound to it, but I think I'll be ok using the PRCAI all year long, sometimes i get worried about hydrolock because of snow and deep puddles but it didn't happen this winter and I doubt it will, if all else fails I can get a bypass valve

Ok, I received several e-mails and payments and replying to it all now XD

I gave 99BlackMaxMS my word, and after a day considered him MIA due to the demand, and slight lack of communication. I was wrong, and I am sorry. Refunding the money to anyone who sent it other than 99BlackMaxMS.

*SOLD*

I should probably apologize as well, as I have had a hell of a crazy week in school made up of 3 research papers and multiple tests before spring break. Obviously they come before my car, so I was more focused on them, making me MIA for a day....allowing Neo to open up the bidding wars. The link posted below is the same exact thing for $50+shipping...sorry to incovience anyone!

OK, it's sold.
Y'all, please clue me in on Forum etiquette for payments. Seller's post says to post "payment sent", then send payment, but doesn't specify payment method. I post "payment sent" and email seller, asking for payment info and preparing to exchange shipping addy.

I'd already checked seller's profile, but "send member an email" button doesn't reveal actual email address, and seller's email addy doesn't display in profile. I wait for confirmation that PayPal is OK, so I can send $ as specified. Instead I find post stating seller doesn't see any $ in his PayPal and BTW, the part is sold.

Somewhere along the line, I was supposed to find seller's email addy and send $ by PayPal. Where should I have looked? Should I assume PayPal is accepted unless otherwise stated?

Look, I'm not real happy that the item was sold to another member (that's another story), but I'm grown and I can get over that.

I clearly need some help with paying for items in classifieds, because I don't want to miss anything from now on. Hit me up, please. Tom
