FS: R34 retrofit HID TL projectors

R34 Headlight Housing
Acura TL Projectors Bi-Xenon
ZKW lenses (optional)
Denso Ballasts/Igniters (very thin)
Phillips 4300K bulbs
one of a kind. The only TL retrofit in R34 housing so far!!
here's the original thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=513926
PRICE: $1100 or $850 w/o ZKW lens SHIPPED! OBO! comes with everything. Bolt up, Plug into stock harness, connect to battery terminals...thats it!

I used the TL bi-xenon projectors and swapped in ZKW lenses. Bi-xenon means that it has a high beam. The R34 high beam is hooked up to also flash when the high beam is hit. This is the first and currently only TL projectors retrofit into the R34 headlight housing. Many have said it was impossible because of the size of the TL projectors but i have proven them wrong. for more info check out the original thread i posted http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=513926

My paypal is jvelos3@uic.edu

first to paypal me the money gets it. make sure to post on here that you sent payment to prevent confusion.

ZKW lenses are very clear. It improves both the width and intensity of the TL projectors. Basically it makes the TL projectors wider, brighter, and sharper. They have no problem shining the road 1/8th of a mile ahead!

the lenses are from only a few BMW 3-series from 2001-2003. They are called ZKW lenses since the make of the projector it comes from is ZKW. They go for approximately $300-$350.

here is an ebay auction for the projector and lens set up i used http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...spagenameZWDVW as you can see the TL projector with ZKW lens, bulbs, ballasts and igniters go for approximately $800 shipped. This price is not including the $200 R34 Headlight housing, and countless hours of labor.

jvelo. How much would you charge to put those on my headlights? I'm new to maximas so I don't know how to make them fit like you did. But I see your work is very good and clean and I like that.

Condensation?

Did you ever seal the bottoms of those bishes? Would you be interested in a partial trade involving an unmodified set of r34's? You could retro those and make a lil more cash... Seems theres not a shortage of interest, just a shortage of money, so a lower end retro should sell purty quick. lemmeknowdadeal.

How is the fit on the r34 housing? I know that the ceofire (not spelled right) requires modification and still leaves a gap....what about these.....also are the lenses made of glass or plastic?

R34s are plastic lenses, and don't require any modification. A little bit of wiggling, and the brackets aren't great, but they're the correct size and shape.

This is why we shouldn't tell noobs to search. If they search, instead of reading all the threads, or the most relevant thread - http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...installed.html - they bump the first thread they can find that's even tangentially related to the subject, then ask their question, then everyone else who doesn't know how to read a date looks at the thread and asks further questions, offers advice, and comments to the OP who typically sold his Maxima a few years ago.

why are people such a$$holes on the org? does it really matter? I asked a simple question and thankfully someone helpful answered!

maybe if people were willing to answer questions the "org" would be as good as other enthusiast forms....

first were yelled at to search! then we yelled at when we find something relevant to what we are tryin to do and we ask a question to help answer a question....good lord, isnt that the point of a forum?

for real...loosen up people....who give a rip? we drive 10+ year old cars...and like to mod them to fit our needs....you should be thankful there are intuitive people out there that are coming up with stuff like on this for sale add.

true i got the date wrong...SOOOOORY lol :/ but i wasnt the first one....look at the post above mine>>>

IMO we should try to implement a system where a moderator can put a 'tag' or something like that on a thread, marking it as informative, and then when you search and it's in the search results, it comes up first.

I was trying to find info about the 300zx fuel filter, and I had to wade through about 25 old threads where it's like "I don't know, try it and post back" or "search, you noob!" before actually finding one that told me what I wanted to know.

Searching by relevancy definitely help things, you should change that setting if you haven't already, sergofast.
