My search for an oem muffler continues. Looking for one in good condition, either a 4th/5th (not 5.5) gen would suit me well... located in the Bay Area. Let me know if anyone has one laying around in their garage, thanks.

Sorry to jack you thread, but i'm looking for the same damn thing too. I got a flowmaster installed about 2years ago and regretted it ever since. I thought it was the quietest one but i was wrong, even the the quiestest flowmaster is still a loud *** flowmaster. You might want to trying fanaticrockford, i've spent well over $400 in parts from him. Not one dissappointment

 

I imagine fanatic wouldn't be fond of shipping it and I generally can't recall him selling many exhaust components, but I'll hit him up. Yea we're in the same boat 2 years ago I wanted to install a 5.5 Gen muffler but couldn't without cutting into the bumper, so I settled with a Magnaflow from my exhaust guy. It honestly isn't excessively loud, I'm sure other ORGers would be content but its just not in my taste. It's just a shame good condition OEM 4th Gen cans are rarely for sale here

I have a mint condition muffler off a 2000 Maxima, came off a Nevada car with less than 10k miles on it, no rust whatsoever. The piping is cut off, but that's the case with most OEM mufflers you'll find. I'm looking to get 80 shipped for it.

 

got one mint condition 2001 MUFFLER + bpipe...its a catback for the 4th gen.... asking 150 shipped .. bpipe is stainless steel
