Would you be interested in selling either of those white mirrors ? I have been looking for a pearl white Passenger side Mirror that will fit a 97 Maxima SE.

Thanks

sorry buddy, not for sale. BUT, i did find something to help you out:

my search results, you ever heard of www.car-part.com? it's a great site, you just put in what year, what vehicle, and what part you need. it searches all scrap yards in your area. i guessed at your zip code lol

How much for just the retro and wiring harness. Don't need your bulbs or ballast.

these things only pop up every so often, lol.

there are also several people who will make your retrofit for you, unless you wanna try and do it yourself.

i haven't started on my r34 retro, but i can tell you that it's going to be much easier than using the a32 headlights (if you look at the back of both, you can tell there's such a better plane to work with on the r34s)

if you're really interested, you can buy all the parts and i'll see what i can do for you. i'll warn you though, i'm not as experienced as some people on here. just in case you're interested, here's a list of parts you need, whether you do it yourself or have someone do it for you:
  • hid kit from eBay (bulbs, ballasts)
  • wiring harness (9004 to ballast)
    • $30 from www.theretrofitsource.com (aka TRS) (recommended)
    • make your own
    • some hid kits will plug into 9004
      • fine, as long as they work in your projectors
  • projectors
    • a32 housings
      • bi-xenon (provides high/low beams)
      • e46 are the most popular
    • "r34" housings
      • single xenon
        • can use low-beam only, or
        • low-beam AND high-beam (4 projectors total)
  • shrouds (prevent light from escaping before lens)
    • buy from TRS
    • make your own (example: pvc pipe reducer)
  • bezels (not necessary, but they look nice)
    • TRS shrouds are already decorative, no need for bezel
    • if you made your own shrouds, you probably need to make your own bezel
      • for example, the retrofit i just sold used a travel mug lip (chrome ring at the top) for a bezel on a pvc pipe reducer shroud. sounds ridiculous, but it has worked for several people, lol.
  • random stuff
    • jb weld
    • foil tape
    • machine screws
    • nuts
    • washers
    • paint (krylon fusion, my personal fav)
    • dremel
  • last but not least, research.
sorry so long winded, lol. i suppose i could have PMed this to you.

good for you. it's fun.

just do alot of research before you buy any parts. when you finally do decide what you wanna do, and you get the parts... be ultra careful (i know that should go without saying), but when you least expect it, something will break. it's always an expensive something too lol
