Need opinion on my Needles!!!

I just installed my reverse indiglo for my GXE. I've seen many people painted the tip of the needle for better daytime driving. So I painted the tip blue and I really don't like it at daytime nor nighttime (maybe is the way I painted them or the color of marker). I need some opinion on the matter.

what color do you think is the best that suit my reverse indiglo color at night and white color at day? should I paint the whole needle? or just the tip?

if not too much trouble, could someone post some pics of their gauge cluster if you have indiglo and white needle painted.

thanks for reading and appreciate in advance for the reply.

Red is always nice...

I'd like to see pics too though.

Paint them on the sides only, leave top unpainted.

I have to reverse indiglo's with import intelligence needles and i get a lot of compliments on it. They are fine in the daytime and at night they can be seen from behind the car. I would check their website. The install is tough but its worth it.

i used a blue sharpie to color the tops of mine, and from straight on they look real nice because it matches the dial lettering blue color perfectly; the only problem is that when the light catches it at a certain angle the needles look pink.. lol

my G/F think it's cool though

thanks for the reply everybody. I don't want the indiglo needles cuz they are pain in the butt to install and I don't want to spend more money on my car cuz I'm need money to buy my text book. I got good deal on my reverse indiglo, so that's why my friend paid it for me as a gift for my birthday. Beside, I think my gauge already look cool. well, maybe in the future, I'll buy some needles and send my cluster to the professional for install. (only llike $25 or something, right?)

I really really like the idea of painting on the side only. but anybody has pic on this? what color? I just like to get the idea.

Red is nice, but what kind of red?

and what kind of paint to you guys use?

after some consideration, I think it's best to go with some lighter color. like pink, ocean blue, or something. I don't know. I just need more opinion. thanks.
