Another 5spd Tranny Bites It.......
Well, after getting my AC compressor replaced and hail fixed, i finally got to take the car to the shop for the tranny prob. It needs a full rebuild, at least the bearing kit, maybe more when they open it up. I want to drop an ACT clutch in there while it is open, but am not sure i can afford it.
anyway, i will update you guys on how things go, it goes in on monday and should be done thurs and fri at latest.
i will be VERY happy to have my car back (been stuck with a protoge and wrangler for 2 weeks already!)

Aww, and I was hoping the bearing problem was more prevalent starting 97 or so. Sorry to hear it happen to you. If I was you, I woulda printed out all the info on motorvate.ca and in ericdwong's posts and made sure the mechanic(s) read it all. Especially after seeing what happened to old dude on motorvate.ca....that'd be a nightmare to me.
Good luck, hope it gets back soon.
