Acceleration clatter

When I accelerate hard and the car is at low rpm's I get this clattering noice.

I've heard it on almost every car I've had. Just wondering what it was.

Describe. Is your tranny a Auto or a 5 Speed. Is this sort of a metal "vibration" kinda noise. If so I have a similar noise at around 2k - 3.5 k. I've only noticed this when the tranny is on 1st or 2nd.

I have this noise too at hard acceleration... it just appears for a second or two and just disappears as the RPM increases.I think it's some component vibrating and should not create much problem.I think its from the engine and might not be from the tranny. It comes from the passenger side.
