i think i just short circuited something... help!

i was rewiring the corner lights and i put in the 10 W fuse instead of 7.5 cause 7.5 blew and 10 W blew after 2 tries... and so stupid me even though i knew i shouldnt have... i put in the 15W and it didnt blow but im pretty sure i short circuited it... cause my gauges dont even come on when i turn it on... so how much is this gonna cost me? and yea is there a easy way how you guys brightened ur corner lights?? did ur fuse not blow when u rewired it?... any other suggestions on how to do it? thanks guys

first look for any other blown fuses. Next time just sand down the ***** on the bulb and put it in backwards.

you must've rewired them wrong that's why its short circuting. Either over look your setup and see where the problem is or just put all the wiring back to stock as it was. Then go through all your fuses and make sure they're good.....the 2 fuses that usually blow are the 7.5a "TAIL L." fuse which is under your steering colum fuse box...and the other is the 15a fuse which sits in the fuse block near the battery.

good luck.

You probably fried the dimmer switch or burned up the wires. This is going to cost you $$$ to fix. Aleast $250 for someone to troubleshoot it and fix it for you.
