Raced a 2k2 Max

My dad just bought a 2002 Max SE Auto..I have a 1995 GXE Auto, Im still stock right now, but I should be getting my first paycheck the 15th.And I have big plans for my Max i.e. i/y/e and im considering a 50-85 shot of nitrous oxide. If I did all of that would I be able to beat him... or will he blow my doors off again?

Your thread has nothing to do with your thread title.

with intake, exhuast and y-pipe he will still beat you, those 2k2's can haul some serious a**. but if u ran a 50shot or more you would take him, although i wouldnt exactly consider it fare, since you are using juice. but to put it simply, because of the damn auto tranny (dont feel to bad i have one as well) you have a small chance of taking a 2k2 auto with an N/A engine

You will get smoked even with basic bolt ons. Wouldn't worry about it too much. Your dad races?

=)

yesterday on the way to work, I was following a 2k2, and damn those things are hard to keep up with.
I have a 95 GXE auto with VB mod, i/y/e and 50 shot. without juice, I didn't stand a chance, especially on the highway.

No, it was only because of the SC. I wouldn't have had a chance without it. And even with it, I hardly 'smoked' it, I just beat it. It was still fun.
