Norwalk Raceway Park will be filled with the best imports and domestics around on Saturday, July 20, 2002. The 5th Annual Sport Compact Nationals, presented by Turbo & High Tech Performance Magazine, promises to be a must-see event.

The best of the best will come to Norwalk, Ohio, to battle for big cash prizes in heads-up and bracket racing. Come and see big name racers like John Lingenfelter--driver of the world's fastest 4-cylinder doorslammer--and Matt Hartford, current IDRC Pro class champion and driver of the Summit sponsored Chevy Cavalier.

There's more to the day than racing the 1/4 mile. A car show sponsored by Matrix and judged by professional ISCA judges will bring the finest sport compacts to Norwalk. Best of Show wins a trophy and a $500 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate!

General admission to the Summit Sport Compact Nationals also includes a burnout contest, swap meet, an Auto X competition, and extreme games like a rock crawling wall, obstacle course, gladiator joust, and big glove boxing. You can also see a freestyle Moto X team and the BMX/in-line skating team, "Hell on Wheels". Then, dance the night away at "Floorplay," the ultimate foam/dance party.

Car show registration: 8:00 am - noon
