centerline rpm rims

I tryed searching and really didn't find too much information on these rims, or any pictures of them installed on a maxima. Does anyone have these rims on their maxima or can someone photoshop some pics of them on a max? At sub-$350 price range for 18" rims that weigh under 15lbs, i'm just curious if there is anything wrong with them?

Thanks,
Tom

Nothing is really wrong with them, other than their sizes.. 18x7??? What good is having a light wheel if it can't grip? I'd spin all day in that.. I mean, if yer into light wheels, you're probably into performance .. so whats with the width?

Centerline and Discount Tire Direct

I too was/am interested in the Center line RPM's so about a week ago I went to my local Discount Tire Center to work out some prices.

This was after a bit of talking but I'm sure you could get these prices if you tried.

17x7 Center Line RPM's(13.5lbs a wheel) - $260 a wheel
18x7.5 Center Line RPM's(15.0lbs a wheel) - $280 a wheel

The Center Line Excels are also in the same FWD line as the RPM's and their weight and price is the same.

In addition to the initial wheel cost, there is a $7 a rim shipping charge, and you have to wait 3 weeks while the wheels are made to order.

Below I have listed some other attractive light-weight wheel options:

Nakayama TS-6: 17x7-(17.6lbs a rim) under $1,000 for a wheel and tire package @ Wheelmax

RacingHart CP-8: 17x7-(17.0lbs a wheel) around $1,000 for a wheel and tire package @Wheelmax

5zigen Fireball: 17x7-(18lbs a wheel) around $1,000 for a wheel and tire package @ WheelMax or $170 a rim @ Wheelsbotique

OZ Superleggra: 17x7 & 17x8-(7 width=15.2lbs, 8 width=15.9lbs) both widths $260 a rim @ WheelsBotique

So is there anything wrong with the Centerline rpm's, I know that the 19's are 7.5 but the racing harts are the same width and when people run 17x7.5 volks they have the same width. Also what are the lightest good tire in the 19 or 19 inch sizes?
Thanks

The Toyo T1-S is the lightest of the Max Performance tires.

They're nice but....

The Centerline RPMs are definitely nice but at that size one could never hook up an disn't that the whole reason a person buys wheels and tires. Also, they are a one piece aluminum wheel which is strong when cars are on them but very weak and poor if you EVER hit your wheel on e something say like a curb. It would destroy the wheels integrity. Well, that's my $.02.

Nealoc187 -
Are you riding on Kosei K1s?
If yes, what did you do for centercaps in front?

I don't recall the weight,
but the Kosei K1s are very light
and I think under $200 each at Tire Rack...
