in www.cattman.com ,there's a CAI for 97-99 models and a CAI for 95-96 models. well i'm trying to buy an intake from someone and he has the 97-99 intake and my car's a 95. is it possible to buy it from him and install it into my car? or are they different?

someone is selling me his CAI.. his is model #CAIG4-A which says it's for 97-99 models...i have a 95 GXE and cattman.com says this CAI, model #CAIG4-B says that it's for me...doesn't 95-99 have the same engine?...so i'm wondering y can't they use the same mods? will his CAI fit in my car?

95-96 Maxima's need to have a hole for a sensor....the 97-99's dont have this....

Yeah, a center hole for the air temperature sensor itself and then two smaller holes on either side for the mounting screws. Shouldn't be too hard.
