ceramic brake pads

Hi -

I am going to replace the brake pads on my Maxima 95', 115K miles. I was wondering whether any ceramic pad is good or shall I only go with Raybestos Quite stop?

thx,
myamin

Go with raybestos if your a normal to agressive driver.
If your a mental case like myself go with EBC redstuff

I've had very good experience with Performance Friction Carbon Metallic.

$32 for the fronts at AutoZone. They dont make rears for our cars.

Re: ceramic brake pads

I just put another set of Porterfield R4S pads on the front and they are phenominal! Try them...You won't be disappointed! They are a little expensive at $69 (if you mention Maxima.org when ordering), but well worth the cost!

Thanks for the reply. What do you recommend for the rear then?

I have OEM (not Nissan Key Value) in the rear.

For the rear it doesn't matter but if you drive crazy then get high performance pads so you will have to change them less often.

Where did you order them from, directly from Porterfield? Do you know how much their rear pads cost? Thanks!
