Launching

Well I finally ordered H&R springs for my car. After that I will be taking it on a race track for the first time(Laguna Seca). Should lowering springs improve my launching at all?

The way I understand it, they do. By installing stiffer (lowering) springs, it reduces the amount of emergy displaced to the springs, and allows you to launch quicker.
