well at my school parking lot, some mo____f____r decided to key my car from the rear passenger door to my rear quarter(about 5 ft long), I was advised to use rubbing compound and touch up paint, anyone have any better remedies? Thanx

I know!

I know what to do...
1. Find the ****
2. Beat the $hit out of him
3. Steal his g/f
4. Beat the $hit out of him.
5. Ignor the court order and beat the his a$$ again
6. Take pictures of him and you scrached maxipad and post them on here.
7. All of the maxima.org members will go up and kick his ***.

Hope I helped, cant wait for the pics!

Sorry about your keyed car.

8. Look for an airbrush artist. I understand they can do good work on keyed cars. Also try someone who custom paints motorcycle gas tanks, etc.

Edited: If it isn't through the paint then compound, etc.

the key went pretty deep, i can see the white primer but that is as deep as it went, i can't beleive how thin the paint is! do you think it is worth having someone airbrush it, or just use rubbing compound and touchup....b/c if the result is still an obvious touch up then saving $$$ would be optimum.........thanx

I guess it all depends on how crazy you want to get over this and how much you want to spend. I don't know how much someone would charge to airbrush the scratch but trying to use touchup paint and getting that to look good is going to be pain.

you're the first person from KU or lawrence, kansas i've seen on the maxima.org forums. i didn't think anyone else who spends any time in lawrence was a maxima.org member. i'm always watching maximas when i'm driving around, and i've seen clear corners once and altezzas once, but unless you have them i think i'm the only one in lawrence with clear corners and red/clear rears. the advantage of living in a city where no one modifies their maximas is that you look more unique. the disadvantage is that no one notices or cares.

i've seen a couple of slightly modded max's but i'm not sure if it goes deeper than the body, just from the engine sound...... my tails aren't cleared out, i've been meaning to, but been too busy taking 9 cr. hrs. right now.....i will sometime...

OK munji, I am taking 33 cr hrs this summer... so enjoy it...Naw I no how it crushes your summer.

Join us for the next weekend meetup, when we have it? Or if you go out in Lawerence, we hit Abe and Jakes once a month>>.
