Oh Man...got springs, now should I get Y-Pipe or KYB's???
I got my maxspeeds not too long ago, and now i'm getting them installed on July 20th WITHOUT new struts/shox. My car has 63k miles on it. The install won't cost me anything, so I won't be "paying twice".
I just made arrangements to buy a Y-Pipe a week from now....but now I'm reading all these posts about struts blowing and leaking and I'm so confused as to whether my struts and shox will last about a month before I can save up more cash to buy the KYB AGX's.
So basically...
Should I get the Y-Pipe this month and wait another month before getting my KYB AGX's???? Though my car has 63k miles...and I'm getting the springs installed this week. I'm so confused, but I don't want to let the person selling the y-pipe to me down.
I know this is all about random events, that some people have their shox blow quickly, some never have their shox blow...but I need some opinions.
my head hurts.
PS: The roads I drive on are usually smooth, no big bumps. I drive the same way everyday.

honestly , get the kybagx u will not regret it...if ur getting ur springs installed for free than you can get your struts installed for free as well since they will have to take the struts off the replace the springs. :-)

Handling is more important than go mods anyday, IMHO. I would definitely get the KYB's even though Maxspeeds are like H&Rs and should be soft enough for the stockers to last. Still, with 63k miles, your stock shocks are tired and it's about due time for replacement. I don't care if labor is "free" or not... wait until you get the KYB's.
