Dual Exhaust

I want to put dual exhaust on my Maxima. I've done some searching and what not but haven't found any posts about it. Is it something where you have to do a lot of custom work to it or what?

There is a member on the board that has dual exhaust on his Max. Not sure of his name but it looks great.
Hopefully he will reply.........

i've talked to people about dual exhausts and from what i got from the convo is that there is no better performance from doing the dual exhaust than there is from just redoing your stock exahust

That's right, they're mainly for looks. Always a custom job on the Max, and if you want two muffler at the rear you will have to smash/relocate things. Thebigsadler has that. If you want though, you can run pipes to the bumper and have a muffler further in. Craig Mack has this.

does it help performance as much as a Greddy exhaust or anything like that? because if it does help just as much I think I'll do the duals since i like the way it looks. and is there anyway you can do it without smashing and relocating things?

Here is the writeup on how to install duals, It might give you a better idea on whats involved. Email Craig Mack or Jason Sadler, they have the best duals here. The writeup is on jason's max. Hopes this helps!
