i bought some fogs from the store, i tried to wire them to the clearence lights but i blew the fuse twice so i had to put a 10 amp fuse in its place. is there a way i could wire the fogs so that they turn on with the clearence lights or do i have to use a separate switch?

 

You can tap into the power wire for the clearance lights but it's best to run a separate switch for the fogs. Make sure you use a 30amp relay also otherwise you'll keep frying fuses.
