I was at work last night, and my co-worker and I were looking out the windows of our building (I work at an optical place), because I was showing him the "HUGE" gap in the wheel well, and asking him if he thought I should get bigger wheels and lower my Max. He pointed out that there was a soda can underneath my tire, and we thought it was strange that it was perfectly centered under my tire. We wondered how it could have rolled up the incline of the parking space and lodged itself under my tire. He pointed out that it could not have been there before I parked, because it was behind the tire and I would have flattened it when I parked the car and ran over it.

I made a joke to him that there were probably tacks or something in the can... and after looking out the window at the can for a second more I went outside and got the can out from underneath my tire. Sure enough there were three nails poked into the can from the outside! If I had rolled over the can, it would probably have ruined my tire! (I guess that's a good idea if you want to flatten someon's tires maliciously...) I don't think I was being personally targeted, I think it was probably some stupid kids trying to play a joke. Good thing I was showing my co-worker the horrible gap in the wheel well, otherwise I never would have seen the can o' nails under my tire.

Now I'll have to check under my car for the next few days before I drive away, just in case someone tries something again.

So watch out for those unassuming soda cans

damn good thing u saw that. people need to stop drinkin hatorade, get ya own car why be jealous and f#ck with someone elses...

 

i got a damn flat too but didnt notice it til i woke up. this sucks cause i think i ran over some stupid ***'s beer bottle they threw in the street.
