make your home depot grill tip
i have been working here and there on my 96 max home depot grill...and I have noticed a few things
1) Be ready to cut up your hands
2) To make it MUCH faster...first get a piece of paper that is as big as the opening you are going to make the grill for, and tape it to the car. The paper is so you can feel the ridge around the opening. Use your marker/pen/pencil ..and drag it along the inside ridge. After you have the shape of the opening...take that piece of paper and tape it good onto a piece of cardboard, and use the lines you just drew to cut the carboard and paper out. You now have your template...from there trace it onto the gutter guard, and cut it out..and tie it on..
Looks sweet if you put a little effort into it. On my first attempt, I spent way to much time trying to make the template out of just cardboard...had to make so many precision cuts. By using the paper it's nearly impossible to mess it up. I chromed and clear coated it...very happy ..good luck
