will a y-pipe hurt my engine?

I read in a stillen catolog that a y-pipe can hurt your car if it's an automatic. Is this true? Anyone with automatics experiece problems?

Not as they pertain to Maximas. Can you expand a bit on what you read about? I've had no problems with my car at all with the Cattman y-pipe installed.

It could hurt your engine if you hit it with the Y-Pipe.
