i was thinking about completing my setup and getting the white blinkers in the front because its amber right now...anyone have problems with the cops with this?

I never had a problem, but they're illegal nonetheless.

 

I've had hyperwhites in my front turn signals for about 1.5yr now, and have not been pulled over for them or even had a cop mention them when I have been pulled over (going for 15times now).. just dont use your turn signals when there is a cop right in front of you, and look good the rest of the time

 

do you guys no a good place that shows how to do the rewire so the blinkers are always on? besides maximadriver...or can you just post if it is eaasy

 

ya tahts what i do, but if its a ***** cop, he'll pull you over cuz you didnt signal ....ive had hyper white for almost a year, and have had pure blue (matches perfectly with my neptune blue), and they havent said anything yet either

 

in NY cops dont care much about what you do to your car until you get caught speeding.....thats when they lay it all down on you

 

white in front is legal in texas. white in back is not.

 

i live in NJ, i had clear blinkers on the front and rear for over a year and then i got stopped in my home town...had to change the rears to ambers but the fronts are still white, white in front is still legal.

 

I've had white blinkers for about a year now. All good. My friend has them white on his CL and he actually got pulled over for it (and dark tinted windows). He showed the cop a sheet of paper from DMV that stays: ... amber or white on the front ...... amber or Red on the back (refereing to the turn signals) and he didn't get a ticket for it. He still got screwed because of the tint. Personally I would never like to prove to a cop that he's wrong, that's a lose, lose situation.

 

Yeah i've been pulled over for whites in the front blinkers before. Cop was definately bored. He's also the guy who likes to pull over alot of cars for those kindsa things. I think its more to get you pulled over to make sure you aint been smokin weed or drinking though.

 

ya i've had polarG's in my clear corners for almost a year. no problem, but i think it's okay to have white turn signals in front in the state of IL.

On another topic, that's a crazy burnout on that Max. WOW!!!!!!!

 

Just get clear corners and put yellow bulbs in.

It's not worth the ticket, because it doesn't look that much different.

WHAT?!?!?! WHere in NY are you? I wish the cop that pulled me over for my green wiper fluid nozels felt that way (realized they were ricey and have since removed them)i was doin 42 in a 40 she saw the lights and got me 50$ gone so quick o yea and in NY all turn signals in the front must be amber colored and any additional lights not installed by the manufacturer with exception to fog/driving lights are illegal

 

Just as a suggestion......if you plan on doing anything illigal while driving i would not recommend it. I have had a cop pull me over on my blinkers and i was reallllly lucky. just my .02.

 

That's the setup I have now with a clear bulb in the sidemarker. I was thinking of doing the turn signal rewire and if I did I would want them both clear. I think your rear turn signals are much more important, a cop is more likly to pull you oer if he's already behind you.

 

I don't mind the signal lights amber.. i was wonderin' about the side bumper.. right beside the signal lights (that is always on when u turn on ur headlights) can that be changed into superwhite or anything but that orange.. i personally don't like it much.. but i can live with it.. is it illegal in PA to have white bumper lights? I really don't want to get pulled over by a cop.. so far i have a clean record.. with a warning for speeding (racing)... so i just want my side bumper lights match my 9004/1157... someone told me to leave the side bumper lights and get orange 1157.. what's better? got any pics out there?

 

That was litterally my first mod and NEVER ONCE have been bothered by the cops about them. Im all over Suffolk and Nassau everyday.

Well! i don't have "white" lights nor do i have amber lights... it's kinda weird. I don't have diamond cuts but the color comes out a creamish color... which i like IMO. I've never been pulled over for it. Now that i think of it... i don't have any ambers left on my car lol. whatever, if i get pulled over, i'll get a Fix-It ticket, that's about it so it's not a prob
