So it kinda speakes for it self if you want pics go to my home page this is what the first fastlane performance intake looks like granted the shape and design has changed some but the over all aspect of the intake has stayed the same. IF you have any other questions dont hesitate to drop a pm or email to either myself or nightrider and we will be glad to answer all your questions.

I posted a bunch of questions in the other thread about this but my main questions are ...

What is the differece between your intake and any other hybrid? Is it only length? Wouldn't a straight tube be better for airflow?

Big_Ham,

Why do you keep speaking or addressing Bruce on this matter. I am the one making the statements or exagerations as you like to put it. This isn't a ***-fot-tat type of thing i'm trying to continue, but if you disagree with what i'm saying, just address me, i figured that's what men do if they have something on there mind. If i'm wrong about the mileage thing i'll know the exact numbers tonight and i'll admitt the mistake. But if i'm not, i won't retract what i said earlier, and right now, i'm sticking by my guns until i complete the trip. Oh yeah, good luck with getting the 5 people if you haven't gotten them already for your group deal for your red/clear deal.
I'm not addressing you because it's not you I have the problem with - it's the ambush (or so it would seem) on Maxima.org of you shamelessly plugging his product - and poorly at that. I'm simply letting Bruce know that next time he wants a spokesperson, he might want to pick someone that doesn't exaggerate so badly. It's not your fault you're exaggerating, that's how you are ... I think every one with a Y Chromozone can be accused of exaggerating at least once.

While I am all for open market and lots of competition, (Hell, I have a JWT charger because I believe Stillen to be overpriced) I have a problem with fishy marketing tactics. True, this may not be it, but it certainly smells like it ...

Is it really all that serious. Like I said, address me, and since you have we can continue. After doing the trip again, i have made over exagerated my results, But as I said, a little over a 1/4 of a tank. To make my findings my exact I decided to measure the distance as well as how much gas was needed to complete the entire trip. The trip was 199 miles and only 6.5 gallons were used. Now i haven't really checked the stats on max's highway gas mileage, but i'm showing that that's 30.46 mpg. I have made several trips in my car since i've bought it, i a was merely stating that i noticed a big difference from before with how little the fuel gauge moved. Like i said before, only an estimate and that can be seen from the first post when i said it was a little over a 1/4 tank of gas used. This is defeintely more precise.

the frankencar is awesoem for me too

i am an auto

i personally think every hybrid is the same

its just the price now.. u cant really change up the way u make a hybrid.. all u need is MAF adapter..midpipe...intake..braket to hol the intake together.. and your all set

the only choices you have to make is what price you want to pay... and which one you liek better overall ( construction/powdercoating/welding/cleanliness) those are all factors

but both intakes are pretty much the same.. not a big deal..

just choose which one you feel is better

let me say this once again Both hybrid intakes DO THE SAME THING AND LOOK THE SAME except for the powdercoating and stuff

I don't think that Bruce or Richard have delegated Kwamdoo74 as a spoke person. I think that he is just excited about a new toy. I don't think anyone would have a care in the world if he was freaking out about a Catman intake. You really should address Kwam, since he is the originator of the thread. If it was posted by Bruce or Richard then I can see you trying to point fingers and have a big beef(no pun intended) over their marketing. This BBS is here for peoples opinions and interpretations(sp) certainly yours included.

Not true. Our intakes have been designed for the Maxima, giving power where you specify that you want it. No one else can do that but us. Have you seen our intake? How can you say that it looks the same?

When i did the drive i stayed 5 - 8 mph above the speed limit. I would say that only on 695 and a few miles of construction did the speed limit drop below 65 mph. One area of 695 had a speed limit posted at 60 mph, but the majority of the trip was driven between 70 and 73 mph.
