I am trying to find the problem with my cars performance.

All I can think of is either you have a leak in your intake or exhaust(hear any hissing sounds coming from either area). Or it could be basic maintenence i.e. plugs, fuel filter, dirty TB. You might also want to see if you are pulling up any codes from the ECU even if your CEL isn't on.

well u say u have a bad knock sensor, ive heard of crazy things happening when the knock sensor is bad. Plus if your check engine light is on becuz of the sensor, ur car goes into safe mode and runs more rich and what not taking away from performance. Your best bet is to change it, its an important piece.

Shadow, SC'ed couldn't break 14's with a bad KS.
