which way should the antenna mast cale teeth go in?

which way should the antenna mast cable teeth go in?

i bought a new antenna mast.
which way should the teeth of the white cable face
while inserting it into the hole?
i removed the old one and forgot.

It has been a couple months... but I am almost positive it is towards the front of the car.

You may have to play with it for a while. Total install time for me was less than five minutes. It helps that I have a remote for my Alpine though.

sorry its not........... you have to point the teeth towards the rear of the car - i've changed my mast twice : ) just put it in with the teeth facing the trunk and have a friend turn the radio off so it gets sucked in, and voila!! - your done

or u could take the assembly out and find out yourself. heehee. don't worry, 15min job.
