Cut off eibach spring? Is it ok?
I don't know... Sounds like a bad move to me... Especially if you have OEM or Tokiko struts... the lower stroke length in the struts will really tear them up fast...
In my opinion, the progressive rate springs aren't tuned that well to begin with... The stiff zone on the rear spring doesn't even come into play until the far extremes of compression.
So if you chop down the springs, the front spring will tighten up much faster than the rear spring... Then the car will feel like a heavy understeer or general unwillingness to go through turns...
Beyond that, the Eibach pro-kit springs are actually noticeably softer in the initial compression...
Whenever you get the cash, just upgrade to coilovers... about $1100-$1500 bucks + labor and you'll be set...
