Hood Dings - Washing car?

Is it possible to ding the hood from washing the car? I didn't notice these dings before I washed my car, but after I noticed about 3 small dings around the same area of my hood. I'm thinking the water pressure from the hose could have caused it, do you guys think that is possible? If so, the 4th gens hoods are ****ty! They must be really soft.. I opened my hood and tried to push the dings out but it didn't really help. If I take my car to dent wizard do they also take dents/dings outta the hood? Damn Max.. makes me so happy yet so mad.

i dunno...

unless you were using a power washer i dont think it was the hose. the cleanslyness of the car probably brought out the dent so it was showing more and was more obvious.

Re: Hood Dings - Washing car?

It happens to me all the time - after washing and waxing my car I always notice every little inperfection in the paint / dings, etc. Probably just something that was there before you washed it.

Hood dings were a mystery to me until recently. I have discovered they are from acorns!

Every little imperfection in my ride totally ****es me off. Considering I'm a 17 year old high school student that worked my *** off (and is still working and STILL paying) for 2+ years to save up 14 grand for my car, every little thing just makes me cringe. But oh well, I figure once i save up enough dings I'll take the car into dent wizard and have them go to work.

the worst thing about washing your car is that you can see every nick and ding and nick and scratch. i remember washing my car the first time and nearly screaming cause there were so many.
