do i need a new clutch??
my max is the first 5 spd that i have owned, and i dont know too much about the clutch and the problems that goes on when i need to replace it... it seems lately that when i put it in first gear it takes a fw seconds when i am releasing the clutch for it to go into gear, it didnt use to take as long, now when i start off it jerks some what cuz its not catching as fast, is this just my driving or should i b looking to buy a new clutch in the near future?

slipping
If the clutch is slipping it will be more apparant in the higher gears. Try this: Lug the car in 5th (~40mph), push in the clutch, wind it up to about 5k and dump the clutch. It should grab relatively quickly. If not, time to replace.

well i did exactly what u said and the engine just seemed to rev backdown to about 2000 rpms, so that means i need a new clutch, right?

Re: Re: slipping
no, if it catches on right away, that means its not slipping. It seems like ur not giving enough gas when you take off like maxinxs said. try giving it more gas and riding the clutch more to get a different feel.
