Well, I'm new here so be cool! Ok, this guy has a 5spd Solara stock, and me well, I have a few mods but am auto, I heard the Solara 5spds do like a 15.5 but, so I am thinking I may have a chance if we raced from a rolling start(20-25mph) cuz the max has a nice down shift, personally I think he would nearly rape my dumb a** if we ran from a dead stop, whaddya guyz think? Think I gotta chance or nah?

 

Hell yeah, you have a very good chance. Why dontcha try 2 races if possible... one rolling and one from a stop. I think if your buddy is a good driver it'll be pretty close either way, but if he messes up shifting or something, bye bye Camry. Get out there and race, keep it safe, and good luck.

It would be close. Hard to call, just race him and find out. Even if you lose, it won't be by all that much.
