o see that warpperformance has 2 different y pipes for the maxima. Aliminized is cheaper than S.S. ok cool. What else is there?

You could have edited your original post. hehe. Do you live in a rust prone climate? No, then the aluminized one would be fine. If you do, then ss would be the better choice.

I've seen what the salt winter conditions in NYC can do to exhaust systems...I'd dish out the extra dough for the stainless steel exhaust. An aluminized pipe is regular carbon steel with an aluminum coating applied to it. Once it scratches or flakes off, you'll have no protection at all. Stainless steels aren't "rust-proof", but they should hold up better in those conditions.
