alright my friend needs new struts/shocks for his max, a 97, and wants something on the performance side, but really cant afford the KYBAGX, and he's not goin to drop the car so i said you can get tokico's or KYBGR2's...but im not that knowledgeful on this stuff, i just went strait with KYBAGX...but if he's not lowering, i wanted to recommend him sumthing a little less expensive that can give him a decent handle too...so whats the next best shocks under the KYBAGX?? cost wise? and also quality/performance wise? are geniune nissan struts better than the others if he's not going to lower?

Look here for a list of what's available. IMO if your friend isn't going to drop the car any, then any on this list will do fine. It's all about what you're willing to spend....
