It's gonna cost you an arm and a leg...When I had my 300zx, I had to pay $424.00. So when I upgraded my suspension on the maxima last year, I didn't hesitate to do it myself.
DIY trust us it's not that hard.

Yup, mzmtg did mine for 100, It took about 3 hours including a lunch break. Try to take it to someone that knows what they are doing. mzmtg did a great job on mine and when my friend is going to get his car lowered, we are gonna make hte 2 hour drive to get it done by mzmtg.

do it yourself man, trust me. i had no idea either when i did mine, but with the help of some directions off the .org i had no problem. its not a hard process at all. and after you do your first shock you fly because once you do it you will have it down, atleast i did. i recomend getting a friend or somone to help you it really helps. it took me and my father 5 hours to do the whole car, thats because we took our time especailly at the begining, and we took a lot of breaks. Good luck man!

charge friends? whats that? I think a normal shop would charge about $180-$240 for it. I've dont it soo many times I can do it with my eyes closed. If you got the tools (and a brain) do it yourself.

Two places I called in the NYC area quoted my 2 hours labor (1 hour for the fronts and 1 hour for the rears). That came to $150 or $160 (one shop charges $75 per hour, the other charges $80).
I ended up going back up to Ithaca, NY before having it done. Hoping to do it myself if I can get a little help.
DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEONE IN ITHACA OR SYRACUSE WHO'D WANT TO HELP? I hear it's not a tough install, but not something to just do without ever having seen it done before. I'm willing to throw in a little bit of "gas money" for their troubles.
