How would strobing highbeams help you see at night?

Yeah the bulbs will definitely burn out faster. Turning anything off and on constantly will kill it especially if it's not made for that type of application. Why don't you just get a showme or whalen strobe it. There about $180 for like 4 bulbs.. I have 8 in my car. It's definitely fun to play with on the road

i will call you and idiot.
i havent used my highbeams since i bought my car.
Therefore i figured since they are there i mite as well put some kind of use to them.
i can see fine with my lowbeams. dont need the smartass remark.

Oh and i was going to put regular strobes but i thought they would look better being so bright and i have hyperwhite bulbs soi just i figured it would be tight.

You're abso-freakin-lutely right. I haven't used my airbags since I've bought the car. I'm going home right now and yank them out of the dashboard.

Listen chief, you ever hear of Murphy's Law? You're living it every day.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. But the don't flash, they simply alternate left to right as most Police Cruisers do. You can (supposedly) set this up for all of your lights if you want to with the use of those relays. I thought it would be cool to do the interior lights and maybe some of the dash board LEDs as a car show kind of eye catcher. I have Whellen Strobes in my headlights already, and I think that this mod would bring more sparatic lighting to the front of your car rather than the rythmatic sequence that the strobe kits offer. I'll probably give it a try in a few weeks. Give me an Email if you do your soon, and I'll do the same. Let you know of any complications.

A flasher would work, but you won't get the intensity of a strobe because...well...read this FAQ:

http://www.pitt.edu/~gszekere/faq/F_...ml#STRBFAQ_001

The wig wag swith would be perfect! You can still use your regular high beams, and your super white bulbs. Be careful where you use them though, using them on the street is a big no-no, and is very tempting! You use them to get someone to pull over and you could be facing an impersonating charge!

Use them for shows though and hanging out (on private property) with your friends and all is well!
