Thats a little much i know hes not that fast and i know Richard hes kiding, i know your mister #'s and tech info with these cars but sometimes things dont always fit into the bell curve. You need to relize that and how do you know im not a 13 second max that missed a 1st to 2sn shift then got on it once i got out of second and into third. If you want to ill meet you some where and me and you can go romping around where ever and then maybe youll see, but i dont have to sit here and defend somthing i all ready have proof of.

I've been on the .Org since 95', before there even was an .org. Many members have met me and know that I am very knowledgable. If I claim something, I can back it up. How can you say that? Have you driven your car that fast? Have you ever driven my car? You don't know what I have. Maxima gearing can allow it to go as fast as you have the power to do so. If Maxima gearing can't go past 150, then how is it possible to get an Integra LS VTEC to go 180 on a track? Look at the Real-time SCCA Integras. They use factory gearing with factory gear boxes and motors.

 

do the math genius. unless you run your car until 8000 rpms in 5th gear you are not going to go very far past 150. power doesnt mean shlt when its speed is limited by the gearing. and show me a integra doing 180mph.

 

I just said the Real-Time Integras on the Speed Channel. Capable of 180 on a good stretch. In case you weren't listening before I'm an auto. That 5-speed gearing doesn't apply to me. I can clearly see you are about as smart as Dave B...what ever that means. You are basing your opinions of my car on normal convection. My car does not perform like yours. It does not perform like anyone else's. My car is not a factory freak. It likes the mods that I do to it, and responds well to them. I'm sorry if you don't have the ability to make your car faster without buying into all of this crap on the net. I buy my mods sparingly, and make others. I bought a Budget y-pipe, G-force ECU, and a Pilot Muffler. I made my own B-pipe, and my own intake. I take a different approach to modding. I don't just ask opinions on things in hopes to get a response. I set out to learn about it, and understand the physics behind it before I make my decision/design. My car is like no other auto, just as Papasmurf's is like no other 5-speed. Each car has its own characteristics. We build on that and are able to transform an otherwise slow car into a full race "Ferrari killer". We made a company to promote that in hopes that people would stop being wusses and do something about their slow cars. I guess you are one of the ones that will be left.

 

Actually, the car has had a few changes since that last update. The intake is now the Fast Lane Performance Stage 2. I no longer have the Super-AFC, and now I have a custom exhaust. It can and has smoked an LS1 on the highway, along with a few other unbelievables. A modded Yamaha R1 is another. Granted I never said anything about me beating them in the quarter mile. These are staged highway and highspeed runs.

First off, the Realtime integras are not LS-VTEC they are B18C5 through and through. 2nd they don't have a PRAYER IN HEAVEN of making it to 180mph on the Bonneville salt flats, LET ALONE any race track which would have a main straight on the order of 5% the distance the bonneville salt flats allow a car to run. The realtime cars are not all the powerful, look at the races, they get pulled out on by almost every car in the series, the Proteges, the 3 series BMWs, etc, the RT cars forte is handling, not 180mph top speeds. Perhaps you should learn a little something of which you speak before you go spouting some BS that you THINK no one will catch you on and know a little something about. And a 96mph trap maxima pulling out on an LS1 on the highway, that's a crock. I think you ran into a V6 Bird or Camaro with dual exhaust bud.

You claim to trap 96mph in your auto... do you have a timeslip to back up that claim or are these just more empty words like you beating the pants off LS1s on the highway and these phantom 180mph RealTime Integra Type Rs.

I really don't have to prove anything to any of you. You all haven't seen my car in action and most of you never will. The DC members have seen it. Bruce has also and will back me up on this. The top end of my car is just as sick as his. You've also read about how easily I can spin my 17"s. My auto doesn't even shift normal. It shifts harder and more crisp than any auto with a VB mod. I don't care what you think about it. The R1 that I beat was from a 60 mph roll and he had an exhaust. That was it.

You all are right, this thread is getting ridiculous. There are a few people on here who can't seem to get their head out of their @ss long enough to believe that there are a few people who know how to build cars instead of buying crap on the internet and running with it. Papasmurf pulled a 14.0 with an intake, exhaust, and injectors. His car has the most craziest top end even seen on a Maxima. My car has that same top end. We share the same mods. You people just HATE the fact that you drive such slow cars.

In the reference to Fast Lane Performance; What I am saying doesn't make my company look bad... Just in your eyes. We develop products for more cars than just the Maxima. We offer something to the Community and it just gets shut down. Members on here aren't ready for us yet.

Thank you. I never said I would hold any secrets to my performance gain. My secret is how I drive. I've told only a select few people and one member my little secret. It has to do with the auto's gearing. My car is quick, but not that quick to anything below 80 mph. For those that don't know, that's 4000 rpm in 3rd gear. When I race, I am always approached when I'm at the beginning of my powerband, or 60 mph. Our intakes are designed to make full use of the car's high end powerband. My overdrive button is OFF. As I approach 80 mph, my finger is on the overdrive button. When I hit 80, I turn overdrive back ON and you'll notice an instant increase of about 400 rpm. When you get to 95 mph (very quickly), turn overdrive back OFF and keep it off until 130 mph (redline). Then turn it back on. By that time you should have already won the race. This little trick actually works. Try it for yourself. As for Bruce's car, its a full race car once he gets a y-pipe. The car is no longer a family car. It doesn't even use a key to start anymore. Both of us use the Stage 2 race style intakes. Members that have requested our intake opt for the Stage 1 street intake. There are a few benefits that you are missing out on by going to that version. However, we still offer it. Many members are afraid to take the extra step to increase their cars performance. There aren't many more secrets that we have, other than the fact that we are willing to do what we need to get where we want.

Heres some likely situtations that would make ur story believable

A. The LS1 was running on 6 cylinders
B. The LS1 ran out of fuel during the race.
C. The LS1 wasnt racing
