You have to get new pieces from an SE or GXE. The ones you have are molded from wood colored plastic.

You could try to paint them, but that would be tough to match.

Don't you like luxury? I guess not, go swap your leather seats for cloth seats while your at it! Don't forget to cover up the sun roof, oh yeah and make your electronic steat adjusters manuals. How about the AC? Lets make it non digital and get *****! Anything else?....

Since the brown one looked like wood grain. EI (Bentley, Mercedes, BMW). Sure its not the real thing but that's all in the eye of the beholder.

All the woodgrain kits that are out there for the max are not the same color i can't match them up with the oe. Some are to light and some are to dark so im giving up. I went to nissan to try and find out which color it is and they had no idea. So i am just going to get black for now and buy a whole woodgrain kit that covers everything like the vents. brian

I just dont think that wood trim, real or fake, is "nicer" than regualr trim.

I see how you can say that. I suppose it all comes down to personal opinion.

CustomMaxima.com is coming out with factory match dash kits, I would wait.

My opinion is at least the standard wood in the GLE is not tacked on, it is built in. Not sticky taped on wood to peel off in the future. The only thing I want to add to mine is bring the center wood all the way up to the vents. Thats all it needs. Wood on/around all the vents, etc, is just too much wood. But that is a matter of opinion. So, I am eagerly awaiting CustomMaxima.com's factory match kits.
