Re: intake?

i would go with the place racing CAI; you can get it from Avalon racing or custommaxima.com, it think.

I don't even have a Frankencar (I have HKS), but I would recommend the Frankecar due to much HYPE!

can some one give me a straight up answer? which gives more power to the wheels throught the entire powerband, a place racing CAI, frankencar, or a dragon intake? if you cant answer that then can you tell me the positive and negative of each? and why isnt the frankencar intake not avaible for the 4th gen yet? and what is all the hype about the frankencar? pls help

ok well, first, the frankencar pipe is available for the 4th gen...maybe the sights not updated, but it most definately is available....2nd....im not 100% sure, but, the CAI seems to give a little more on the low end, while the frankencar/dragon setups dont give any, but they dont lose any, found with setups with just a cone...the CAI, gives more low end, but really doesnt do much on the top end....rule of thumb really has always been CAI for auto's and short ram setup for 5spds, but with the mid pipe, its either or really

Is the mid-pipe only produced by Frankencar? Who else?

few options with the mid-pipe...i believe the weapon r dragon comes with it, you can make your own, frankencar, or you can use the upper piece from a place racing cai....

Make my own? I'm sure there are probably instructions on how to somehwere if that is the case. I'll search. I think I might just buy it off frankencar. Some guys has the same HKS intake I have and he build a mid-pipe for it. For some reason he said it "came" with it. I don't think buying a whole intake system is the answer just to get my hands on the mid-pipe though. Thanks.
