My GLE doesn't have a limiter :)

Turns out I was wrong about having a limiter on my GLE. Took my car out to ocean parkway again and this time the car didn't jerk forward and shifted smoothly in 4th gear where I was able to take it up to 129 MPH. Might have been able to do a little more but there was a car in front of me and I had been at 129 for about a minute and it wasn't moving so I figured to call it quits. After a while I got so used to going 100+ because I had to keep slowing down once in a while for traffic that it seemed like I was going normally. I actually did a lane change at 120 mph which I really shouldn't have done but the Max handled perfectly. So what's the fastest anyone has got their stock auto up to? I know the 5 spds can hit 140 but I don't think my car would have had enough power to get there although it was at 4500 rpm when I stopped. Also I did have 2 other people with me but that wouldn't make that much of a difference at that speed right? All I have to say is it was such a blast but I'm not doing it again. That is at least till I get an intake maybe.

I hit 134 and still rising on a flat road one time, but I'd been driving for several hours and the CEL came on and scared me, so I let off the gas. The top speed really depends on the road. That was a really smoothe one, on a rougher road, I generally get up to 127 or 128.

141. Bone Stock.

3rd day I owned the car, dead smooth road in Eastern Washington.

Some people say GXE's all have limiters. Obviously not.

I think on the GXE if you have the C&C package, you have no limiter. That seems to be the pattern.

ive taken it to about 132, and it was for a while....granted as i actaully driving while it was 132 (i.e. hills, mostly uphill, curves, etc.) she wouldnt go any faster....nothing like going 130 the whole way home to make an hour drive take only 15 minutes

i've hit 136 on I-80, i average 125 on I-380. I would try to max it out, but the roads out here are too choppy.
