and she weighs in at..

I took my max for the smog check and they weighed the car in at 3375 lbs.. i have a bare 97 gxe with practically "E" on the fuel gague and no mods/no anything in the car. good? bad?

I think they put the same weight down for all Maximas.

Friend of mine weighed his at 3020 lbs. With full tank and some other stuff i guess 50 lb in it.

the 97-99 models are known to be much heavier than the 95-96 models due to some changes in the years.

State inspections machines aren't always accurate because they get so much use & don't always have people to keep calibrating them. Nissan specs the 97 auto at 3012 (99's are 3069). 3375 stock seems like their scale was off to me.

Yeah...

Their scale had to be wrong. I think the 5th gens weigh almost 200lbs more, and the 3rd gen Altima is a little more than that. I think the Altima is in the mid-3200 range, so your 4th gen would be a lot less than 3300lbs.

Get that itch on a diet. You got a fat max. Make that heffer do a few laps @ 100mph, that should help, maybe not.
