Budget y-pipe: Problem?

I just installed my y-pipe yesterday and noticed a quik thumping when I put the car in reverse. Is this normal?

Also we I called for the y-pipe they told me that there was free installation for pick up but when it was finally available they told me it costed 250 + 25 for installation. Did anyone in the GD got free installation?

Re: Budget y-pipe: Problem?

I was getting that but my car is a '96 and one of the exhaust hangers behind the resonator was worn.. I just replaced it today.. My entire exhaust after the cat is rusting away..

No idea about the group deal issue.

The noise is most likely the b-pipe hitting. I had the same issue when I had my Cattman installed. I added a rubber ring to the hander to force the b-pipe lower. No more noise.
