My CEL threw a code for the TPS like 4-5 months ago, but I reset it and it never came back until recently, where the light was up constantly. Since then acceleration has been crap along with the trans. In the meantime I got a Frankencar midpipe and threw that in, but while I was installing it I disconnected the air temp sensor (the thing that was plugged into that plastic ram air piece) and forgot to plug it back in when I started the car. This set off a few more codes - one for the knock sensor, one undefined, and one for the AATS, obviously because I forgot to plug it back in - but when I did the KS and the 0409 stayed, along with the TPS code (even after resetting). I replaced the TPS a couple weeks ago, which took care of that - even though throttle response and shifting improved a little, the engine was still very sluggish. I thought the TPS might have been triggering the KS and the 0409, so I held off on getting a new KS. But after I installed the TPS and reset the ECU, those two codes came right back the next day minus the TPS code. So fine, I replaced the KS and the car seriously felt like new after I reset the ECU again -for about 30 miles, but then the CEL lit up again, still 0409. As of now it still drives much better, but what am I supposed to do with this undefined CEL?

btw I also bolted on a Greddy SP before I got a new TPS. Had some problems w/ the 02 sensor rattling on the heat shield, but I banged it in a little to get some clearance and I haven't heard any noise from there since.
