i got a check engine light a while back it was for the 1320 code. the car had been running fine until last night it started surging while i was on the freeway and the check engine light began flashing. i pulled off the freeway and the car ran a little better. i just seems as if the car is going to die at any second. does anyone have a clue what might be causing this? i know what the code means but maybe someone will know exactly what is wrong. any info will help thanks

 

my car did similiar things...check your MAFS, including the wiring!

the 1320 code is for the ignition circuit failure. i think it might be an injector or the plug wires but im not sure. it misfires very badly now i have to get it checked out.

 

I have the EXACT sasme problem. At high speeds, sometimes the light flashes code right?. I got 1320 too. the Occasionaly engine tremble at idle, and at startup (accompanied by unburned gas odor) bothers me. Ill wait to see who on the org solves this. seems like lots of people have this prob! Good luck man!

 

you just said exactly what is wrong with my car. i have nitrous on my car so i think that might have created the problem. all that i know is that it isnt firing in the 6th cylinder. im going to get it checked on monday. i have been driving it around for about a month now and have had minor problems but it has progressivly gotten worse. anyway keep me posted on the situation with your car and ill do the same for you.
