raced a grand am GT

i was going down a street coming back from dinner with my grandpa. i pulled up to a stop light and there was this black grand am GT revving at me, and he would go in reverse and then drop it in drive to spin his tires. he did this 2 times while we sat at this light it was a bunch of kids with bandana's on and huge jewelry, thinking they were straight out the "ghetto" with their 20k car daddy probly bought for them. so the light turns and he peels out and a second later he cuts me off while i was accelerating from the light. well my grandpa loves cars and modding them as well so he says, "what a ****, go kick his ***" so i pull up to him at 30mph and say try that again, so we hit it. at about 80 i had 1 1/2 - 2 cars on him. so he gets XXXXed as i slow down and cuts me off again, so i change lanes and do the same thing to him again.

i hate kids that think they are all hard and invincible to everything.

LOL, that's funny that you raced with your grandpa in the car, and he even egged you on! I wish my grandpa was like that!

as for the ghetto comment i wasnt being racist or anything. i am white and there were just a bunch of white kids in their brand new car daddy bought for him they thought they were hard as*es. but off that topic it was a new grand am. 99-2k2 body style, it didnt have any mods though. my car is an automatic with CAI. that car had good throttle response, but all his pull gave out after like 2sec. just like my moms grandprix. i greatly enjoyed beating him. and yes my grandpa is very cool, its nice to have someone like that that is also into cars like me

A friend of mine has a 2K Grand Am GT wiht the 3.4L. His best 1320 stock is 15.9. I am sure there are a few quicker stock but it def. will give an auto max a run for its money. The best muscled out of my stock Max was 15.6@87mph stock.

I find it holarious that your gramps egged you on. It reminds when my dad wanted me to race. He told me to smoke the little Neon revving at us. Needless to say, that poor Neon didn't know he was racing a stock looking Stage 4 WRX.
