Dead ECU?

My car has been having starting problems, i took to a shop and they said there is no spark anywhere, and the ecu does not seem to be communicating with their machines, they recommended another shop that specializes in nissans. I don't really have a choice, what are some signs of a disfunctional ECU???? The no spark resulted when I was driving in the drain and somehow water got in somewhere and the car died, also, before, the car was having electrical problems, it would eat new batteries every couple days.

P.S. I have a JWT reprogrammed ECU (bought with max from another owner) for a SC, any experience with their customer service? Thanks for answering all my questions.

I think it could be one of two things.

1) Bad ECU

2) Bad wiring

If it were bad wiring, you could have a loose connection or water entry in to the connnectors. Try to get a hold of a FSM for the ECU wiring and check power, ground, ignition coils, position sensor.

Good luck!
