possible trans problem!! please help!!

possible trans problem!! please help!!

im not sure wht this is. u know when u have a stick shift and u shift gears the car sometimes bounces foward a bit. im not sure wht to call it. well i have a 98 SE Auto and sometiems it does this. it will shift into the next gear and then ill let off the car will bounce foward. please dont laugh at the way i described it. i really not sure how to. any help would grealty help. thanks

Strange as he may describe it, I know what he feels. It's the last part of the shift when the clutch finally locks the next gear in place. Everything is slushy until it's finally engauged. If you let off the gas a little while it's shifting, the pressures for the shift are still high and you feel it hit just a bit harder.
